What was amazing is that I thought I was so well prepared for the move. It just seemed that every time I opened a cupboard or closet I thought had been cleared, more stuff just kept spewing out. The quick move from DC to Chicago found me with a number of boxes never touched, and now packed onto a new moving truck to store in my home town.
In my pre-departure activities, I was lucky enough to have some of the best sushi I have ever eaten at Momotaro. I had the chef's selection of nigiri sushi. A delectable chutoro, and the scallop were phenomenal. The yakitori chicken hearts and beef tongue were superb. The curry was amazing. I ate too much but enjoyed every bite.
I have been in Appleton for a little over a day. After seeing how much I really have moving with me, I decided a storage unit was the best choice. Next is my trip to DC. It will be good to see friends and family. I will also be meeting with an architect about some improvements to my house.

Aside from having mom with me day 1 - there was not much different in the day I left.
